15+ years' experience leading first or second line risk functions within financial services, fintech or another highly regulated industry.
Deep expertise across Credit Risk, Financial Risk and Enterprise Risk Management, with strong knowledge of consumer lending, portfolio oversight, model governance and credit risk frameworks.
Experience leading controls assurance or non financial risk oversight functions.
Demonstrated success partnering with Executive Leadership, Board Committees and senior stakeholders to provide clear, practical and commercially balanced risk advice.
Strong leadership capability with experience developing experienced risk professionals and building high performing specialist teams.
Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the organisation.
Outstanding strategic thinking, analytical capability and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex risk issues into practical business outcomes.
Strong commercial judgement with the ability to balance customer outcomes, regulatory obligations, risk appetite and business growth.
A track record of driving meaningful outcomes, leading through change and delivering continuous improvement.
A mindset that embraces AI and new tools to adapt, learn and grow.
