Significant experience leading a global financial control or controllership function in a fast-growing SaaS or technology business, including multi-entity and multi-currency environments.
Deep technical accounting and financial reporting expertise, including consolidation and external audit management.
A proven track record in finance transformation, systems modernisation, and process automation, such as ERP transitions, close automation, or RPA, with measurable efficiency gains.
Strong understanding of core finance processes and technologies, ideally gained in a modern, highly automated, and systematised finance environment.
Experience overseeing global tax and payroll compliance, or partnering closely with specialist teams to manage risk.
Experience setting a multi-year strategy and target operating model for financial control or controllership, not just executing an existing plan.
Demonstrated people leadership through periods of growth and change, including building high-performing teams and succession depth.
Experience with financial due diligence or M&A, including data-room management, carve-out or integration accounting, and post-deal control integration, or equivalent transaction-readiness experience.
Experience operating with full ownership of a finance function, including Board- and audit-committee-level communication.
The ability to move confidently between different finance domains, including reporting, tax, payroll, treasury, vendor management, and procurement, without losing pace or decision quality.
Comfort operating with autonomy and ambiguity, and translating financial and technical concepts for non-finance stakeholders.
A hands-on controller who combines strong accounting judgement with a practical systems and technology mindset.
A clear, confident decision-maker who can balance risk, pace, quality, and the needs of different stakeholders.
A visible and present leader who sets direction, unblocks barriers, and invests in people and process capability.
Energised by modernising finance operations and using data, automation, and AI to create better ways of working.
CA, CPA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Significant post-qualification experience operating at Director or Senior Director level in a scaled, multi-entity SaaS or technology business.
