This is a hands-on role with real ownership; you'll own the direction and be the final decision point for how the system scales across brands and connects into the AI tooling that's becoming core to how we design and build, thinking in systems that work for both designers and AI tools alike.
Most designers work partly in the Sydney or Melbourne Mable offices, and partly from home. Candidates who would work remotely from other Australian locations will be considered.
You'll work closely with our product designers across both HomeMade and Mable and our engineering teams. You'll also partner with our AI platform work to make sure the system is built in a way that AI tools can reliably consume and build from.
You will also be part of the Customer Experience team, working with and receiving support from design managers and other talented product designers.

Experience working with a multi-brand or multi-product design system
Practical experience using AI tools like Claude in a design workflow, and genuine curiosity about how design systems and AI tooling should work together
