Key Responsibilities
Own and evolve the smart contracts that mint, burn, and safeguard custom stablecoin supply, shipping changes in a secure and auditable way.
Build and scale backend services that power onboarding, issuance, reserve accounting, and rewards distribution.
Partner with product, design, and tech leads to turn the stablecoin roadmap into shipped features every quarter.
Drive architectural decisions across the backend and smart contract surface, balancing security, scalability, and speed of delivery.
Write high-quality, well-tested code and raise the bar for operational excellence across the team.
Required Skills & Abilities
5+ years of experience in software engineering, including designing, building, and operating production backend services.
Experience writing, testing, and deploying smart contracts (Solidity or similar EVM languages) in production, ideally where real economic value was at stake.
Comfort owning a service end to end and composing service-oriented architecture at scale.
Working knowledge of security and correctness tradeoffs unique to onchain systems - audits, upgradeability, access control, and key management.
Familiarity with Golang and onchain fundamentals (Ethereum or similar), with direct experience building DeFi or stablecoin infrastructure preferred.
Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
Pay Transparency Notice: Base salary varies by location (see range below). Total compensation may also include equity and bonus eligibility, and benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k)).
Annual base salary range (excluding equity and bonus):
$186,065—$218,900 USD
