Required Skills & Abilities
We are seeking a Board-Certified Collaborating Psychiatrist to join our growing psychiatry team as a 1099 independent contractor. In this role, you will serve as the collaborating physician for Tennessee-licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs), ensuring high-quality, evidence-based psychiatric care for college students.
In addition to your collaboration responsibilities, you will provide 2 to 4 hours of direct clinical care per week, helping expand access to psychiatric services for our student population.
This is a 100% remote, 1099 contract position.
Our psychiatry hours of operation are 8:00 to 3:00am Eastern Time, seven days per week. Your clinical availability should fall within these operating hours. Outside of scheduled collaboration meetings, you will have the flexibility to create your own schedule based on your availability.
A compassionate and skilled board-certified MD or DO Psychiatrist
Hold an active, unrestricted medical license in Tennessee (TN). Multiple state licenses is an added advantage as we operate in all 50 states.
Empathetic and intuitive listening
Strong verbal and written communication
Comfortable working autonomously in a telemedicine environment
Passionate about our mission of improving access to high-quality mental health care for college students
An entrepreneurial spirit or previous experience within a startup or fast-paced environment is preferred
Available for 2-4 hours of clinical work a week and willing to be licensed in states where Mantra has customers contracted for psychiatrist service (starting in MA, NY, FL, and PA)
