Review incoming defects for completeness, reproducibility and duplicates, and qualify severity and priority.
Assign each defect to the right internal team, vendor or partner and track it through to closure.
Lead regular defect triage meetings with development, QA and business teams.
Follow up on resolution timelines and escalate blocked or critical issues.
Keep defect data accurate and report on volumes, age and root causes.
Recommend process improvements based on recurring patterns.

At least 3 years of experience in quality assurance, including defect or incident management.
Experience coordinating across multiple teams and third-party vendors.
Strong understanding of the defect life cycle and severity and priority classification.
Comfortable building reports and dashboards.
Organized, diplomatic and confident moving issues forward.
ISTQB or ITIL certification is an asset.
Fluent French, spoken and written, and professional English (see language requirements).
Québec resident, able to travel to the client's Montréal headquarters 1 to 2 days per week.
